Life is lookin good again

I'm on "base lib" right now til 1930 and I'm leaving on town pass to a friend's house at 1400 but thought I'd drop by to write that life is lookin good.....more to come in a week or so....

Today

Today I met with a retired Air Force person and discussed my job in the Air Force and the Air Force lifestyle and I'm very excited. BMT is gonna be a bummer but after that it should be very fun....I didn't even know that I'd be able to ride in the planes as an aircraft fuel systems technician....cool...


Maybe I'll be a pilot someday......

I went to the recruiter's office today and was reassured by the answers to my questions. I've been waking up early in the morning (5ish) worrying about my choice to enter the military. It's scary making such a big decision. The recruiter didn't BS and told me about people who've acquired jobs in the civilian world and have been successful, such as defense contracting. So since I want to be rich, that was cool! And then about how I shouldn't worry about BMT and some fun parts about tech school. But there wasn't any BS'ing so that really excited me.

I went to the park and walked & talked on my cellphone but that park gives me bad vibes, ya know what I mean? There is something about that park thats hard to describe, it just gives me a really bad vibe being there, so I didn't walk long. I'm going to wait til one of my parents get back from work so I won't be walking alone.

And that was my day.....boring

And I thought about sending insider a "provocative" futureme email...LOL
